Grade 6 Mathematics Curriculum
Outline for 2007-2008
The Mathematics curriculum this year is a research-based project known as Connected Mathematics. It was developed at Michigan State University and is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation. It is aligned with the NCTM Principles and Standards 2000.
Sixth grade students at Central Middle School will be completing 4 specific units and they are:
If time permits we will be working through a fifth unit called, Covering and Surrounding.
